Situated in the south of Istrian peninsula, Pula stands as a remarkable sign of magnificent past where first the Greeks and then the Roman Empire left the eternal mark on the town. Sights like the Colosseum, the Arena, the Golden Gate, the Augustus Temple are even nowadays the town's jewels and can be admired all year round. In modern, Austro Hungarian era, most of the city as we see it today was built.
